The Rudaki Foundation plans to make cultural events, including ones taking place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, more affordable to the public.
“A major clothing manufacturer has agreed to sponsor many of the forthcoming musical performances,” Ali Asghar Safipour, the director of the Rudaki Foundation, said. “This company has agreed to design and make the uniforms for the entire orchestra, and also pay their travel expenses to three Russian cities during the 2018 FIFA World Cup scheduled to take place between June 14 and July 15.”
“In addition to composing an anthem for the national football team, the Rudaki orchestra has written other musical pieces that they’ll perform during some of the matches,” Safipour said.
Salar Aghili will perform a song written by Ehsan Afshari and arranged by Babak Zarin. Saed Bagheri has written the lyrics for another song which will be performed by Alireza Qorbani. Shahdad Rouhani has composed the music for it. Abdoljabar Kakaei is working on the lyrics for another song. Fereydoon Shahbazi will write the music for it. “We’ll decide on the singer soon,” said Safipour.
